The “Welcome Aboard” brand was designed to reflect the company’s vision for our attractions. The Wood Scenic Line Ltd is committed to providing every customer with a unique visitor experience. We continually strive to enhance our attractions, ensuring the best quality service and facilities. Wood Scenic Line Ltd is also very proud supporters of our local community and recently introduced a fund-raising programme for local schools and non-profit organisations.

Staff Vacancies
Tram Drivers & Conductors
During our peak periods, we hire more staff to help cope with the extra workload. Drivers are required to undergo extensive training and testing, and must learn the detailed commentary before being allowed to operate a Tram.
Tram Hosts
Throughout the busy summer season and school holidays, we hire casual staff to act as Tram Hosts in and around the central city. Tram Hosts assist Drivers and Conductors with selling Tram tickets, while also providing general information about the Tramway Experience and various Tram packages (including the Restaurant Tram) to visitors and local residents.
Punters
We are often looking for people with an outgoing personality and good physical fitness to work as punters, particularly over our summer season. We have full or part time jobs available conducting punted tours through the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, and full training is given. Please contact us or come down to the Antigua Boat Sheds to see us.
